As professionals and a local charity our priority and focus every day is on how best we can support children and families in our Inverclyde community where we live and work from.
From the very youngest child to the teenager - to the parents and grandparents, carers, teachers, fellow professionals and all who care about the mental health and wellbeing of our young people- we will do our very best via provision of high quality mental health support when life feels hard, unfair, sad, challenging and downright difficult.
Support offered may be long term depending on assessment of need and complexity of the issue - we rarely offer short term 6 week interventions other than specific group work or where referral is for mild difficulty. An initial 3 week assessment will be facilitated to allow us to ascertain appropriateness of the referral and the modality being offered to the child or family before any decision of progress on to longer term work.
All of our mental health supports provided by qualified, registered and clinically trained Play Therapists; Counsellors; Family Workers and all receive clinical supervision from approved supervisors.
