We currently have the following vacancies available for volunteers -
Admin/Reception hours: as and when required to cover various hours/ staff holiday cover.
Previous admin experience, an acknowledgement and understanding of confidentiality; ability to remain flexible/ and a pleasant/ calm and non-judgemental outlook are essential qualities for this post.
Volunteer Group Workers: Volunteers required to work under the supervision of and to assist/ working alongside qualified Therapists and Family Workers in a variety of group sessions for
WEE MINDS baby and parent groups( focus on early Attachment relationships);
Superhero Groups- Supporting young people's resilience/ confidence and self esteem;
Diversionary Activity Groups: Therapeutic Arts and Crafts with Parents/ Children;
Young People's Forum: An opportunity for young Inverclyde people to prioritise what is important to their wellbeing and help shape services at Mind Mosaic Child and Family Therapies- to have their voice heard in relation to what children and teenagers need to best support mental health and wellbeing and to effect change.
Various posts may appeal to retired people; students on early education/ childcare/ nursing/ teaching/ social work/ social care/ psychology courses; Duke of Edinburgh Awards; Senior School pupils; people seeking employment and looking to enhance skills and experience- or anyone who has a few hrs to spare each week and wants to give back to their community.
Full induction and training will be provided and necessary expenses/travel expenses paid.
2 referees required and a clear PVG certificate.
