On world suicide prevention day we focus on how we support children, families and parents when they are faced with difficult or troubling thoughts, increasing low mood, depressive thoughts, worthlessness or feel they have no where to turn to.
At Mind Mosaic Child & Family Therapies we work with such circumstances and referrals for underlying causes of low mood, troubling thoughts and difficult issues every day and we make it our life's work as mental health professionals and trained qualified professionals to provide support via a range of psychological and wellbeing services. If our services are not the correct fit for you or your family after assessment we will not leave you- we will appropriately signpost to one of our network partners or statutory agencies to ensure that you do receive the help that is required.
We do this via initial check-in appointments- no waiting time; specialist play therapy sessions for children from age 3- 18; young people's counselling; parent and carer counselling; wellbeing groups and one to one supports; training workshops for parents, carers and professionals/ workplace groups; supervision for therapists, counsellors and work place groups, and baby and parent social play and attachment wellbeing sessions from birth to 3yrs.
For further information call us on 01475 339019 or email: children@mindmosaic.net or by calling in to our office at Ladyburn Business Centre in Pottery Street.
Some of our staff team will join with a range of partners across Inverclyde from the suicide prevention partnership group for the showing of the film- The Low Road at the Waterfront Cinema- and we will have staff available during and after the film if support is needed
