STRENGTHENING BONDS

A fully interactive and informative workshop focusing on the early years, and the relationship between parent, toddler and baby. Facilitated by qualified Play Therapists and specialists in infant attachment; children's counsellors; child and family practictioners; and supported by visiting specialists in baby and infant massage, and therapeutic art. This inspiring day will explore the early relationships, introduce sensory play responding to the child's emotional and developmental needs, will explore helpful techniques where challenging behaviour is an issue; provide filial techniques to enhance the early attachment relationships; participants will take part in an imaginative and therapeutic storytelling session; a therapeutic art session for parents and children; and learn how to conduct a baby massage session to help calm and prepare baby and toddler for bedtime. Tea, coffee, refreshments and light lunch are provided.
