£150k Grant Funding Awarded

We are delighted to announce that we have just been awarded 3yrs grant funding - £150K- from Young Start delivered by the National Lottery Community Fund for the delivery of our Groups- Heroes and Beyond- for children and young people age 3-18yrs.

This funding allows us to provide much needed therapeutic Superhero Groups; Change Grief and loss groups; and Young Mentors.

These groups support children affected by grief; family breakdown; difficult peer relationships; bullying; school issues; poor confidence and low self esteem; chronic illness; disability; young carers and much more.

Many thanks to the Funding Officers and decision making committee of the Young Start and National Lottery Fund for affording us the opportunity to deliver this much needed support and to our own staff not only for their work on funding applications- but also work hands on every day with the young people themselves and understand first hand what is important to Inverclyde children and families and help to secure the vital resources that will make a massive difference to their mental health and wellbeing.
