As Therapists and Family Workers there are moments in our daily work that just stop us in our tracks and we reflect with heartfelt gratitude at the kindness of Inverclyde people whom we are privileged to know.
Yesterday was such a day when a dear friend and supporter Dawn Cooke presented us with a cheque for £5K in loving memory of her dear husband Joe.
Joe was much loved in our community by all who knew him and it was a great shock and sadness last year to everyone when he died suddenly at a young age.
Through their own grief and loss Dawn, her boys and their amazing friends and family organised a series of fundraising events in Joe's memory raising a fantastic £26K to be distributed to charities close to the family's hearts.
We are extremely touched by Dawn and her family's generosity to Mind Mosaic Child and Family Therapies.
Heartfelt love and thanks to all involved and we know that Joe would be so proud of Dawn and his boys for all of their efforts
