Huge thanks to every individual, local business, and organisation who have donated and contributed to our 7th Annual Little Box of Love at Christmas appeal this year. The response has been above and beyond and we are humbled to say the least
Focusing on the vision 7yrs ago of making sure that every child in need in Inverclyde received a gift at Christmas we could never have imagined the response would be as powerful as it has been and it renews our faith in human kindness.
Retired people; pensioners; parents with babies in prams; children using their pocket money to donate gifts; couples bringing their children through the door with gifts explaining to them what it was for; couples with no children who wanted to help a child in need; caring individuals who support us every time; network partners who support our efforts; teams of workers from local businesses coming in with bags of gifts; local shops and small businesses; medical, dental and nursing teams from our local hospital and health centres; school staff; college staff; our own team and our families and friends- every person has helped to make a difference to Inverclyde children- every single act of kindness is so much appreciated and is testament to the true meaning of Christmas- to give - and with love.
Thank you to our staff team- Mind Mosaic Child & Family Therapies and to our amazing volunteers who have worked tirelessly with us over the past weeks helping to compile lists of children and families; liaise with our network partner agencies; physically organising and wrapping gifts for collection and uplift- every effort is recognised and appreciated and once again we see a caring practical community in action working together with a small local child and family mental health charity for the benefit of those less fortunate and delivering joy where it is most needed.
Thank you!
