At Mind Mosaic Child & Family Therapies Our work with babies, infants, toddlers and parents are at the very heart of where we start from to support the developing mind and good mental health of families from the birth of the child...

Many of you will have heard of attachment- the bonds of affection between parent and child that are the very starting point of relationship...but what does it mean when we look a little closer at how this becomes clearer and real to parents as they see attachment evolve in every day life?

i.e. the crying anxious clingy child/ exhausted frustrated parent...how do they best respond?

what are the effects on the infant's developing brain when parents argue constantly and the child sees and hears this? What can they do?....

what are the effects on the developing child's brain and mental health when phones, tablets, etc are the substitute for the parent's face?- especially if parents weren't aware of the effects of any of this?

How do we provide appropriate support to parents who are struggling with the effects of birth trauma?

How best do we support tired, often exhausted parents who are juggling jobs as well as raising a child during difficult global issues and a cost of living crisis?

 How would they know and who can help them with many other questions they have themselves?

How do they know that through all of these issues they are actually doing a very good job themselves and that recognition of this really helps boost the parent's own mental health and wellbeing?
