With heartfelt love today on Mother's Day as we hold all of you in mind

As a small charity in Inverclyde who support children and families who have suffered at the hands of such violence - we fully support every effort to do more for survivors and as the families call for the Government to fund more specialist services who support them- including the small local charities and organisations who keep all who affected at the forefront of our work and thinking every day

Good morning from our base at Ladyburn Business Centre in Pottery Street( next to the Cottage Cafe)...Friday coming up! What does that look like today?... WEE MINDS infant and parent together special play sessions( age 0-3yrs) promoting good early child development and peri-natal mental health for parents. 11am and 1.30pm Play Therapy children age 3-18yrs- individual sessions where medium to complex difficulty is identified and support delivered by a qualified trained profess

Mind The Gap! is a new addition to interventions we provide for children and young people age 5-18yrs who are waiting on lengthy lists, or who perhaps only require a few sessions of wellbeing and mental health input to help self-regulation and to self soothe. We are busy planning and preparing for our Family Easter Fete on Sat 28th March from 10.30am-2.30pm at Craigend Resource Centre in McLeod Street Greenock. There will be craft stalls; gift and card stalls; books; baking; children's toy tombola; tombola for the Mum's Dad's Grandparents Aunties and Uncles; Story Telling for the little ones; Raffle prizes; Cafe with tea, coffee, biscuits, hot dogs and burgers; and an Easter Egg Hunt for the children Donations gratefully received

In No More Week we raise awareness of domestic abuse and sexual violence and as trained Play Therapists we work with children teenagers and parents affected by these issues and as we support their recovery....

From Monday 2nd March we launch a new strand to our service that will support children, teenagers and parents who need a short intervention or quick access support while waiting for therapy or mental health services with other agencies

Excitement today as 4 of our team head to Stirling to embark on the first of a 4 day training- Relationship Journeys- delivered in person by Dr Suzanne Zeedyk. During this course we will explore more deeply the way that relationships work; why the relationships we first experienced as infants have such lasting effects on our emotions and behaviour and how these dynamics underpin attachment, trauma and adverse childhood experience.
